Launched in January 1998, Kampung Siglap Mosque full-time weekend Madrasah (2MKS) has proven to be successful now that there are classes for all age groups. With such positive response, the weekend Madrasah is here to stay in moulding a Quranic Generation.
At Kampung Siglap Mosque's weekend madrasah, we have implemented the Diyanah Module; running alongside the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus, 2MKS introduces a supplementary module, Diyanah, that covers Tawhid, Fiqh and Akhlak. Diyanah's content-based approach complements the interactive-based approach of the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus.
Kids aLIVE
KA1 to KA4
For children between 5 to 8 year-old.
Following the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus, the Kids level include subjects on Tawhid & Fiqh, Akhlak & Character, Sirah & Islamic Civilisation, Quranic Literacy & Understanding.
Tweens
Tweens 1 to Tweens 4
For children between 9 to 12 year-old.
Following the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus, the Kids level include subjects on Tawhid & Fiqh, Akhlak & Character, Sirah & Islamic Civilisation, Quranic Literacy & Understanding.
Secondary
Sec 1 to Sec 4
For students between 13 to 16 year-old.
2MKS extends another 4-year course pathway to the Secondary level that runs on our own syllabus which is reviewed annually.
Our Secondary syllabus includes subjects on Aqidah, Hadith, Fiqh, Quranic Literacy and Islamic History (Seerah, Khulafaa' Ar Rashideen, Islamic Empires and Islam in South East Asia).
