Launched in January 1998, Kampung Siglap Mosque full-time weekend Madrasah (2MKS) has proven to be successful now that there are classes for all age groups. With such positive response, the weekend Madrasah is here to stay in moulding a Quranic Generation.

Kids a.L.I.V.E.

For children between 5 to 8 year-old.

Following the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus, the Kids level include subjects on Tawhid & Fiqh, Akhlak & Character, Sirah & Islamic Civilisation, Quranic Literacy & Understanding.

a.L.I.V.E. Syllabus
2MKS runs the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus in our Kids and Tweens levels. A safe, motivating and fun environment gives you peace of mind as your children spend their time with us. A multi-sensory approach inculcates the habits to inquire, try, see, share, reflect and act. Play is the central approach to learning. Themes are used to illustrate Islamic values and practices. Role-playing helps children to practice model behaviour which is an important element of value-based learning.

Tweens a.L.I.V.E.

For children between 9 to 12 year-old.

Following the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus, the Tweens level include subjects on Tawhid & Fiqh, Akhlak & Character, Sirah & Islamic Civilisation and Quranic Literacy & Understanding.

Diyanah Module
Running alongside the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus, 2MKS introduces a supplementary module, Diyanah, that covers Tawhid, Fiqh and Akhlak. Diyanah's content-based approach complements the interactive-based approach of the a.L.I.V.E. syllabus.

Secondary

For students between 13 to 16 year-old.

2MKS extends another 4-year course pathway to the Secondary level that runs on our own syllabus which is reviewed annually.

Our Secondary syllabus includes subjects on Aqidah, Hadith, Fiqh, Quranic Literacy and Islamic History (Seerah, Khulafaa' Ar Rashideen, Islamic Empires and Islam in South East Asia).
